Engineer turned Screenwriter

Coming out of high school, Michael Dew had a choice:  he greatly enjoyed creative writing, and he was very good at science and math.  Professional writing sounded very fulfilling, but financially risky.  Engineering, on the other hand, would probably provide a solid financial foundation.  He chose the latter.

After a successful 27-year engineering career, Michael retired in 2019, unretired in 2022, and re-retired (this time with a capital "R") in 2023, at which point he then decided to return to creative writing.  Over the years of his engineering career, he encountered numerous subjects and ideas that made him think, "someone should make a movie about that!"  Seeing as no one has made those movies to date, he decided it fell to him.

Michael applies his engineering rigor to the page, doing the necessary research to ensure that characters and procedures are depicted as accurately as possible.
